Thomas Knackstedt, MD, MPH, is in private practice at Peak Skin Center in North Carolina and serves an adjunct associate professor of dermatology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in skin cancer treatment, complex facial reconstruction, and nail surgery. Dr. Knackstedt completed dermatology residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship training in Rhode Island. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in nail tumors and advanced skin cancer care.
