ACMS Diversity Mentorship Program
Applications are open through July 15, 2025
The ACMS Diversity Mentorship Program was designed to increase exposure of underrepresented minorities (URM) to Mohs surgery with the long-term goal of improving representation within the Mohs College for the betterment of patient outcomes. By pairing an ACMS member with a mentee at an ACGME-approved dermatology residency, the College can help build a future for our specialty that is fully representative of our nation and of our patients.
Selected mentees will be matched 1:1 to an ACMS mentor as part of a year-long program (August 2025 to August 2026) and will consist of quarterly virtual meetings between all mentors and mentees with more frequent one-on-one meetings between individual mentor and mentee pairings. The program is intended to be a hybrid of virtual meetings and in-person opportunities (where circumstances allow) between mentor and mentee. Mentee applicants who self-identify as URM with an interest in Mohs surgery are eligible to apply if they are in good academic standing at an ACGME-approved dermatology residency program, or a graduate thereof. Any ACMS member in good standing, of any background and practice setting, who is committed to active mentorship is encouraged to apply as a mentor.
Interested mentees and mentors are encouraged to apply by completing an application using the links below. Please email info@mohscollege.org with any questions. Applications will be accepted through July 15, 2025.
