Laurin Council, MD, MBA, FAAD, FACMS, is Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Program Director of the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Her clinical and research interests include rare nonmelanoma skin cancers, laser therapy, and aesthetic procedures. A nationally recognized leader in dermatology, she serves on the American Academy of Dermatology Board of Directors and is Past President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Council has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, edited two textbooks, and serves on the editorial boards of several leading dermatology journals.
