Emily Ruiz, MD, MPH, is Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, Program Director of the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Director of the High-Risk Skin Cancer Clinic at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A nationally recognized expert in nonmelanoma skin cancer, she specializes in the management of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Ruiz has authored more than 100 publications, leads multiple clinical trials of novel therapies, and focuses her research on improving prognostication and treatment for high-risk skin cancers.
