Ashley Wysong, MD, MS, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in high-risk and complex skin cancers, melanoma, and advanced reconstruction. An academic surgeon, educator, and physician leader, she has held leadership positions at Mayo Clinic, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the University of Southern California.

Dr. Wysong is a nationally and internationally recognized educator, leader, and translational researcher with expertise in dermatologic surgery, cancer epidemiology, and high-risk skin cancer. Her research focuses on clinical outcomes and translational approaches to understanding tumor behavior and improving risk stratification.

She is particularly passionate about mentoring in Mohs surgery and reconstruction, research, academic and leadership development, program building, career transitions, and creating individualized career paths within dermatologic surgery.
